But I have played off and on since beta. I tend to travel a lot for my job. I have a two week trip coming up and that is what got me thinking about this ability-service. I hate holding off on long-train skills simply so I can keep the SP progressing when I go on extended trips. It interrupts skill planning.
It's a matter of convenience and support for people who do not live in Eve.
And yes, I only get to play about 4-6 hours a week. I'd rather focus on game play, when I do play, than manipulating my skill que for when I'm traveling for work.
You get more time to play than I do for same reasons and I do fully agree with the idea of being able to set a larger skill Que.
And for posters above answering my previous comment I was doing my usual sarcasm thing because, welp, because someone let the door opened with his comment, I saw the light and jumped both feet in, that why folks !! *removed inappropriate ASCII art signature* - CCP Eterne |

Allandri wrote:No. You should be happy they added a queue at all, I remember the days when you had to ensure to clear your schedule or time the end date just right in order to maximise SP/hr.
So we should also be happy someone actually learned how to use fire or we would still live without it?
Aw, this is awesome. *removed inappropriate ASCII art signature* - CCP Eterne |

Omega Flames wrote:There's nothing wrong with having 2 days or 3 or even 7 to be able to queue up instead of the current 1 day. If ccp had made it a 7 day when they implemented it would yall have gotten on the forums and complained it's too long then? somehow i think not. Now if ccp decid to not increase it that's fine by me as well, but don't naysay just to be naysaying
Not a matter of naysaying or whatever the heck, it's just that for some of us that can't log in like the white-nerd-eat chocapics-drin-cola-never-see-the-sun who can't obviously understand some people live or have different life.
I'd be happy being able to set a longer skill que just because like many around sometimes your job doesn't aloud you or gives you the time/opportunity/ability to connect to the Internet, log Eve online and set your skills que. I don't know how many days of empty skill que my characters have just because I couldn't do anything about it.
We have soldiers, diplomats, business people yadaya playing this game that can't always do this simple thing you call set skill que and "planning" (this planning word makes me laugh) , not saying they deserve any sort of special treatment but I think the training system in Eve wouldn't suffer in any form or term if something could be done for these dudes dudettes to help them out with this tiny issue.
Not the most important issue, but would actually be really nice. *removed inappropriate ASCII art signature* - CCP Eterne |
